When you try to draw a perfect line on your paper by: Sriram Lakamsani

Have you ever had this feeling where you know you can draw a perfect line in one try. Everybody has been in those situations. But whenever you try to draw a straight line, you will always fail because nobody is perfect in any way possible. I even tried to draw a perfect line. I mean it took me a million tries to draw a perfect line in one good try. But I cannot draw a perfect line! It is such a stressful situation for me and I do not enjoy it.

I am a child that thinks that everything I do shall have a perfect outcome. But I am unable to draw a line that is perfect and straight. Since I believe everything should have a positive outcome, I think there needs to be a perfect, parallel, and professional line on my piece of paper. But I am unable to draw it and here’s why.

The paper that I am trying to draw a straight line with is terrible. The paper has a nose with pimples all over it. I cannot make a straight line on this ugly piece of paper that I have. I have to be some sort of god to make a perfect line with the wrinkled paper I have been trying to use. So, in order to reverse the path and not take many tries to draw it, I need to have these materials to be able to successfully accomplish my goal.

The materials I am in desperate need of are the materials that are used in basically everyday lives at school. These are the items:

A Ruler in order to make it perfect

A writing utensil in order to draw the line

Paper that is fresh and has not been used or crumbled

These materials can benefit you upon drawing a line if you want to get it done in the first try. Also make sure you are extremely calm and diligent. Make sure you do it nice and neatly. With all these you are for sure going to be able to draw a straight line.
Awesome!

  1. I like how you used lists, like in the Book of Awesome! It makes the chapter much more relatable

  2. I like when you said how your paper has a nose with pimples all over it, and it is super satisfying seeing the straight line
