When you can’t get your locker open the first time by Nia Hafezamini

Right two, left thirty six, last one...thirty...thirty...dang it. Large amount of sweat drips down your face. You try to calm yourself then start again.

You know the feeling.

You’re getting out of class, rushing to your locker, putting in your combination, all to find that your locker won’t open. You have no clue what you did wrong. You don’t know what number you put in incorrectly. You can’t have anyone help you. So you try again.

A loud voice shouts in your head. Turn to the right, hit two. Now turn left, hit 36. Then turn back to the right and hit the last number. 32. Like a cold winter day, your hand shakes. Then…*click* it’s open. But let me tell you something: You just wasted a whole minute trying to open a locker that should’ve opened the first time. But like a needle in a haystack, you can’t always get it on the first try. But every once in a while, you hit the jackpot and get it first try.

AWESOME!
