The feeling of cool water on a hot summer day
……………………………………………………………………………………………………
Do you ever have those moments where it’s like you’re in a desert, nowhere to go and no one there to help you, then you see an oasis?
A hot, boiling sun. The sun, sending its ferocious lights with the intent to destroy, no clouds to block the fatal sunlight. Your body is exhausted all the way down to your inner core. The cells in your body giving up the urge to fight the inevitable.
At long last, you see a way out of this catastrophe and you see it; a pool with cool water. It’s calling for you, captivating you. You and the pool, just like the two ends of a magnet. Nothing in between to block the two. You know that this will be good, and were waiting for this moment.
Then you feel the first touch of that cool water which gives you a phenomenal feeling. It sends a burst of overwhelming contentment down to every corner of your body.
Once you feel that first touch, you know that it’s the beginning of a carefree, and a thrilling day.
AWESOME!
I like the imagery in this one!
ReplyDeleteI really like that your essay is about something that is relatable. It is also really creative.
